There are three condominium communities located in St Lucie West which include the Belmont Condominium, The Club Condominium and Westbrook Isle Condominium. My personal favorite has to be The Belmonth Condominium at St Lucie West which offers residents great amenities including a stunning clubhouse, community pool and much more.
55+ Neighborhoods
Located in the Kings Isle neighborhood is where you will find all the Active Adult / 55+ neighborhoods which include the Single Family Home area of Isle of Tuscany, Isle of Granada, Isle of Capri along with the villa communities of Isles of Lombardy and Isle of Venice.

Now I’ll go over what I think are the Best Neighborhoods in St Lucie West in my personal opinion. Everyone’s opinion differs based on their personal preferences and what meets their criteria and needs and below are my favorites. Below you can learn more about a handful of homes, townhomes, villas and condominiums that are a great places to find the perfect home for sale in St Lucie West.
Single Family Homes
By far two of the best single family home neighborhoods in St Lucie West include Lake Charles and Country Club Estates. Both offer a different vibe and types of homes to choose from ranging from 2-5 bedrooms and anywhere between 1400-4200 of under air square feet.
Lake Charles at St Lucie West
The Lake Charles at St Lucie West neighborhood is situated on over 500+ acres of open preserves and lakes with plenty of wildlife seen roaming the community daily. This is a manned security guard gated community with lots of amenities and one of the largest St Lucie West Neighborhoods overall and offers residents a variety of single family homes for sale which include 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms up to 5 bedrooms and 3 bathroom floor plans.
The Lake Charles neighborhood has reasonable monthly HOA fees ranging from $161.00 – $320.00 per month as of late 2022.
Country Club Estates at St Lucie West
Another one of the best neighborhoods in St Lucie West has to be that of Country Club Estates. They call this Country Club Estates for a reason and you will find the largest Homes For Sale in St Lucie West and most homes have golf course views situated on the St. Lucie Trail Golf Club.
Most of the homes situated in Country Club Estates at St Lucie West consists of three to five bedrooms with approximately 1800-4200 square feet under air or Living Space and have low monthly Homeowners Association dues around $160.00 as of late 2022.
Villas & Townhomes
There are only a handful of Townhomes & Villas to choose from in St Lucie West but hands down the best neighborhood is Harbour Isles at Lake Charles offers the best when it comes down to the floorplan and square footage of each property.
Harbour Isles is a small neighborhood with only 19 buildings and 102 total units which offers a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom with 1454 square feet under air and a 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bathroom with 2139 square footage under air and the largest is a 4 bedroom 3 bathroom model with 2321 square feet under air.
First thing most people notice when walking inside a home in the Harbour Isles at Lake Charles community is the high ceilings and open floorplan it offers which makes it feel more like a larger single family home overall.
Condominiums
Since there are only three condominium communities located in St Lucie West choosing the best neighborhood comes down between the Belmont Condominium and The Club Condominium. Both have great amenities which include a stunning club house, community pool, fitness center and tennis court.
I personally think Belmont Condominium at St Lucie West offers the best overall when it comes down to the size of each condo and the current monthly condo association fees. The Belmont has lower monthly condo association fees when comparing apples to apples and the condos themselves are slightly larger with more square footage under air.
Active Adult / 55+
All of the Active Adult or 55+ neighborhoods in St Lucie West will be found in the Kings Isle subdivision which include villa neighborhoods of Isle Of Granada, Isle Of Venice and the single family home neighborhood of Isle of Tuscany. Personally all of these Active Adult / 55+ St Lucie West Neighborhoods could be considered as some of the best in the area.
Final Thoughts About St Lucie West
As a real estate professional I like to weigh all the options when helping clients find the best neighborhood and one of the biggest factors St Lucie West should be considered over nearby areas like Tradition is due to the overall value you get when buying a home, townhome or condo in this master planned community. The monthly Homeowners Association Fees are lower and the home prices are more affordable than other nearby master planned neighborhoods.
